Gideon Onyewuenyi
I’m a data scientist and lead AI/ML engineer in Nigeria. I build production machine-learning systems that move beyond experiments and into real decisions, workflows, and products.
My work has included credit decisioning, loan-application fraud detection, churn prediction, next-best-offer systems, document intelligence, and conversational analytics. I have also built AI products across fintech, healthcare, customer support, and productivity.
I studied microbiology at the University of Port Harcourt before moving into machine learning through practice, research, and community-led learning.
Community
I’m a four-time AWS Community Builder in machine learning. Over the years I have also mentored with Deep Learning Indaba, facilitated AI Saturdays Lagos, helped lead TensorFlow and AI learning communities in Port Harcourt, and contributed to efforts including Masakhane.

Everything Is Changing Now is my independent home for writing. I use it to think in public about AI, infrastructure, work, security, and the systems changing around us.
It is intentionally simple and independent: the writing lives in plain files, on a domain I control, and can be read without an account or an algorithmic feed.
